02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

To establish Swahili Cultural Centre in Glasgow with an intention of protecting and promoting the Swahili culture through reading and practicing. We are doing this by having regular gatherings.

Constitutional objectives

Establishing of Glasgow Swahili Community to promote, protect and managing the Swahili culture, language and heritage for Swahili and Bajuni people living in Scotland. This will help them to feel at home in foreign multi-cultural country. The community provide them with advice, training, relief assistance in order to build confidence to continue their life without fear.
