Constitutional objectives
4.1 To advance the health and wellbeing of parents & baby during first 1001 days by providing community based groups offering support, education and workshops free of charge run by volunteers trained by UKPEA. 4.2.To advance the education of parents suffering from mental health issues by providing an alternative to the perinatal mental health treatment by the NHS via medication and long waiting lists, by providing workshops on anxiety reduction, stress management, EFT, NLP, Hypnosis and IEMT within our community groups throughout UK. 4.3 To advance the health and education of expectant and new fathers who are often overlooked at present, who show signs of perinatal mental health issues or stress, by running free voluntary groups where peer to peer support is available facilitated by a UKPEA trained volunteer(s). 4.4 To advance the health of mothers and fathers who are having difficulty in coping and experiencing isolation with a new-born or toddler by offering a safe and nurturing environment within community volunteer centres, where baby/toddler can safely play whilst parents are supported by UKPEA trained volunteer(s). 4.5 To advance the health and eduction of teenagers by provision of a safe environment where teenagers experiencing pregnancy can 'drop in' and receive unbiased support, advice and information regarding accessing health services, parenting skills, health and mental wellbeing via one to one, peer to peer support and trained UKPEA volunteer(s). 4.6 To advance education of health professionals by provision of a comprehensive CPD modular course covering Prenatal and Perinatal Infant Psychology and how early attachment and bonding whilst baby is in womb can overcome adverse environmental factors.
