Constitutional objectives
(a) The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. 1. By identifying organisations who also provide relief. 2. Developing protocols/ applications/criteria for individuals or groups who may wish to apply for funds. 3. Develop partnerships with other organisations that are providing food banks. (b) Advancement of education 1. Identify organisations with which we can work in partnership to develop programmes that will encourage confidence, participation and decision-making. 2. Assisting young people and women access to funds to participate in leadership and empowering course, which are being organised by, partners e.g. Columba 1400. (c) The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science. 1. Develop a working partnership agreement with The Scottish Muslim Heritage Trust and non-Muslim organisations to capture the various histories, arts etc. of the Muslims in Scotland. 2.Work in partnership with The Scottish Muslim Heritage Trust to develop a centre where ?Muslims? contribution to Scotland can be showcased and maintained.
