What the charity exists to do
The Trustees are directed to pay or apply the Trust funds for the benefit of supporting charities and projects, within their selection of particular charitable purposes, although not restricted to them, in the form of grants or donations.

Constitutional objectives
3. Purposes of the Trust The Trustees shall hold the Trust Fund and the income of it to pay and apply the same to or for the benefit of or in furtherance of the following purposes:- (a) the advancement of education, in particular (but without limitation) by supporting and providing children and others in education with training and development courses in order to further their education and careers, with a particular focus on young people. (b) the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or any other disadvantage and the prevention or relief of poverty, in particular (but without limitation) by the provision of financial support to children and young people in need. (c) the advancement of health, in particular (but without limitation) by the provision of support targeted at treating mental and emotional ill health, particularly of young children. (d) the advancement of the arts, heritage, or culture, in particular (but without limitation) by the provision of support to projects which foster local culture and support the preservation of activities which are distinctive and part of local history or tradition. and (e) the promotion of such similar or other activities as shall further charitable purposes, in such proportions and manner as the Trustees shall think fit. In exercising their discretion in terms of this Clause the Trustees shall give primary consideration to the wishes of those persons who gift or lend funds to the Trust but this proviso shall impose no binding obligation on the Trustees.
