02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Fact Four is working with Glasgow City Council and with other heritage organisations to find a sustainable way forward for the Lion Chambers, a Category 'A' Listed Building in central Glasgow. If this can be achieved considerable public benefit will be gained both from the preservation of an internationally important historic structure and from the positive impact on the local area.

Constitutional objectives
(a) To promote for the public benefit the preservation (whether wholly or in part) of buildings and other structures or features of historic and/or architectural significance and in particular, but without limitation, Lion Chambers. Glasgow and its adjoining buildings. (b) To advance education, and in particular with regard to the qualities of buildings of architectural merit and those involved in the design of those buildings. (c) To promote, establish, operate and/or support other projects and initiatives which further a similar charitable purpose or purposes for public benefit.
