02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The purpose of this charity is three-fold. To provide a means by which children can pursue interests or hobbies in Taekwondo. Provides a means by which they can participate in a sport which allows them to develop self esteem and build confidence. Also provides health and fitness for participants as well as self defence. The main objective is to advance public participation in sport by supplying taster sessions and demonstrations for local schools during school term and at community fun/health days. Working with active schools and community sports hubs where appropriate. Fundraisers, grants and sponsorships will be for the sole purpose of subsidising the purchase of Olympic grade Taekwondo equipment, it will be used to subsidise students participation in national and international competitions, it will be used to support parents and childrens travel outside of Scotland.
