02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

We provide free and confidential information, advocacy and support to anyone 13 and over in the Forth Valley area (Clackmannanshire, Falkirk and Stirling) affected by sexual violence. This includes survivors of sexual violence and their friends and families. We also provide advice, support and training to staff in other agencies who are working with survivors so they can provide a good response to survivors of sexual violence. We deliver most of our support services at our centre in Stirling, but we also have outreach provision throughout the area and our workers travel throughout Scotland to attend court with survivors. In addition, we deliver sexual violence prevention workshops in schools, youth groups, clubs and other organisations working with children and young people in the Forth Valley area.
