02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Chairty was mainly set up to educate Turkish children and maintain the cultural identity of Turkish community in Aberdeen. For this, Turkish language and Islamic education classes are given to children and meetings and events are organised for Turks in Aberdeen to come together.

4 The organisation is established for charitable purposes only, and in particular, the objects are: 4.1 to advance education, promote the arts and culture of Turkey and to relieve the needs of persons of Turkish extraction. and in furtherance of this by. 4.2 The provision of educational support to the Turkish community living in Scotland. 4.3 The organisation of social and cultural events in order to contribute to the integration of the above community with Scottish society. 4.4 Active contribution to the cause of intercultural and interfaith dialogue.
