02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Trust Jack Foundation is dedicated to supporting everyone age 11+, from young people to our older people and particularly those who are socially isolated or have been identified as either suffering from a mental health illness or are at high risk of suffering from a mental health illness. We are a mental health awareness and suicide prevention charity and we also offer support to anybody who supports someone with a mental health illness. We work to improve the emotional well-being and mental health of our local community and beyond, through health and well-being services, therapy, workshops, education and activities.

Constitutional objectives
The organisation's purposes are: To advance education through raising awareness of mental health issues by providing information, training and workshops for those effected by mental health issues. To save lives by providing suicide prevention programmes and services for those with a diagnosis and those at high risk of having a mental health illness To advance people's health and wellbeing by providing access to counselling, support groups, holistic treatments and activities that provide relief or recovery The relief of those in need by providing help and support to those affected by mental illness and the distribution of grants to young people aged 12 to 18yrs who are suffering or at risk of suffering from a mental illness.
