02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Breadalbane & Strathtay Youth FC is a community-based charity established to provide inclusive, affordable opportunities for children and young people to participate in organised football in Highland Perthshire. We deliver regular training sessions, competitive fixtures, and holiday programmes for boys and girls across multiple age groups, promoting physical activity, teamwork, confidence, and wellbeing. The club removes barriers to participation by keeping costs low, offering financial support where needed, and providing local access to sport in a rural area with limited opportunities. We also support the development of young leaders and volunteer coaches through mentoring, qualifications, and pathways into employment, strengthening both individual outcomes and the wider community.
