02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The charity was initially set up to create a playpark for the village. After completion of that the charity was kept open in case it was needed for another activity. However, a separate Development Trust was created and this charity was not required and has been inactive. We are now applying to dissolve the charity

Purposes The organisation's purposes are to provide recreational facilities or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. To redevelop the north green play park area into a safe and inclusive play area, picnic area and garden area. To work in partnership with relevant agencies to fundraise, procure, design, and deliver a safe and inclusive play area, picnic area and garden area. The association shall seek: to provide a supportive role for any person(s) wishing to promote these object to provide a community forum for community ideas, projects and wishes within these objects to provide for the community members aspirations within these objects
