Constitutional objectives
The Advancement of Religion: The Iona Orthodox Night-shelter Abode will provide a place of worship, contemplation, prayer, and study for Orthodox Christian pilgrims to Iona and more generally to those interested in Iona's rich Celtic Orthodox tradition. The Advancement of Community Development: The Iona Orthodox Night-shelter Abode will provide a social space for Orthodox Christian pilgrims and for others interested in Iona's rich Celtic Orthodox spirituality. The Advancement of Heritage and Culture: One aim of the Iona Orthodox Night-shelter Abode is to re-connect with Iona's Celtic Orthodox past, dating back to the time of St. Columba (c.563).
