02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The advancement of the arts, heritage, culture or science The advancement of heritage, culture and public participation in sport, opened to all age groups residents in the West of Scotland who have an interest in Gaelic Sport and Culture. Our men’s, ladies and juniors teams train and play matches on weekly bases during the season. Throughout the years we run various events both sporting and social/culture/traditional events to promote the overall health and wellbeing of participants. As well as empowering and building the capacity of the minority formal/informal Irish community organisations, participation in the sport of Gaelic Football in the Glasgow area by both sexes at various age levels up to adult level. In addition, we work with local schools and in the community, and support charities to raise money.

Constitutional objectives
The organisation's purposes are: To advance the arts, heritage, culture or science and advance public participation in sport by celebrating Irish culture through providing an opportunity for participation in the sport of Gaelic Football. To empower and build the capacity of the minority formal and informal Irish community organisation, participation in the sport of Gaelic Football, in the greater Glasgow area by both sexes at various age levels up to adult level.
