02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

To provide a high standard of care and support to every person we support and ensure that support provided is in a safe, welcoming, nurturing environment where the people we support have the opportunity to develop and achieve their full potential at their own pace. We provide a person centred staff team for each person we support that offer consistent support that encourages positive relationships, mutual respect, trust and consideration for others.

Constitutional objectives

4.1 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. This will be achieved through providing social opportunities for young people and adults aged 16 - 30 years old with learning difficulties and/or learning disabilities. 4.2 The relief of those in need by providing short break respite to families by providing outreach support, respite within the clients homes or outsourced accommodation thus allowing the parents/carers of these clients some time to relax and have time to themselves.
