Constitutional objectives
7.1 The SCIO will promote, advance and further charitable purposes by operating as a 'grant giving' charity which will support financially and otherwise (but not limited to) education, training, professional development and research, services, equipment and facilities in fields of medicine and related professions connected to the causes, diagnosis, treatment and care of cancer and other serious illness and disease with a focus on supporting children and teenagers (and their families), in Scotland, the United Kingdom and overseas.
