02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

SBFVG, a community-led development trust dedicated to the regeneration and improvement of the village. We work to create a thriving, clean, attractive, and healthy village where residents of all ages and backgrounds can actively participate in economic, environmental, and social life Community Development-we bring together residents to address issues using self-help initiatives and social enterprises. Regeneration Efforts-we focus on environmental and economic regeneration, ensuring long-term benefits for current and future generations. Support & Activities-we provide a range of programmes and events for all age groups, from toddlers to seniors, fostering a strong sense of belonging. Anchor Organisation-we identify opportunities to develop services and facilities, helping other local initiatives. Community Hub-activities take place at our Hub, and throughout the village. Our mission is to empower our community, ensuring that Stoneyburn & Bents remains a vibrant and welcoming place
