02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The Hillswick Public Hall is the centre of village activity in and around Hillswick and surrounding area. The Hall is run by the trustees for the benefit of the local community. The Hall Committee hold monthly meetings which are open to anyone within the community and welcomes new members with open arms. The Hall is used for many events such as children's birthday parties, Sunday teas, Weddings, Funerals, craft evenings, musical evenings, meetings, elections and many other local events. The Trustees have worked tirelessly to make sure the hall is fit for purpose and is a warm, welcoming space for users of all ages and abilities.
