• The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended by hosting recreational events and activities that provide opportunities for the community to come together. • The relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage through the provision of small grants, donations or support to community groups, charities and individuals. • Create greater community cohesion and the advancement of community development by initiating new or improving existing facilities and activities for local communities to participate in.
