02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We primarily provide and maintain a shore landing facility. maintained moorings and shore access ramp which facilitates cost effective facilites to members and visitors. We also facilitate 'wild' swimming, fishing, kayaking and paddleboarding from the facility, to the local community and visitors

Constitutional objectives
The associations purposes are (a) To provide a recreational facility in the pontoon, and complementary visitor's moorings, which enables safe and easy access to Loch Fyne for the Strachur community and visitors alike, enabling a range of marine sport, and leisure activities. (b) To advance environmental protection and improvement by involving young people in the community to become more familiar with, and respectful of the local marine environment.
