02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We oversee the distribution of the local authority microgrant for people in the local catchment area. We hold regular meetings once per month. Trustees also have meetings as and when required. The committee are involved in local campaigns, work with other local groups to ensure we all work in a collaborative way. All f this is to improve our local community and to include as many people as we possible can to ensure everyone's voice is heard.

Constitutional objectives
The company has been formed to benefit the community of FORTH & DISTRICT (?the Community?) with the following objects: 1. To encourage the advancement of citizenship or community development, including the advancement of rural regeneration. 2. To be instrumental in the promotion of the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment. 3. To encourage the advancement of heritage, culture, history, arts, science and education, including lifelong learning. 4. To provide, where necessary, recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended but only to the extent that the above purposes are consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development.
