02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The Organisation purposes are for disadvantaged young people, vulnerable people, elderly people, adults and children with disabilities, difficulties and health issues and their families, in Fife and in the local community. It provides several activities for adults, children and young carers. These are provide to stimulate, develop and encourage everyone in a safe caring environment.

Constitutional objectives

5.1 To support disadvantaged young people, vulnerable adults, the elderly, adults and children with disabilities, difficulties and health issues and their families in fife in addition to supporting the local community. 5.2 To promote the welfare of these groups by the delivery of a comprehensive and co-ordinated community support service. 5.3 Advancement of citizenship, social engagement and inclusion 5.4 Organising recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for people of all ages participating in programmes run by the organisation 5.5 The relief of those in need by reason of ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. 5.6 To increase awareness in communities of disabilities, difficulties, health conditions and similar integration difficulties, not only to the general public, but also health and education professions and in doing so provide socialisation for those affected with different conditions and similar integration difficulties.
