Constitutional objectives

5 The organisation’s purposes are: 5.1 To support disadvantaged young people, vulnerable adults, the elderly, adults and children with disabilities, difficulties and health issues and their families in fife in addition to supporting the local community. 5.2 To promote the welfare of these groups by the delivery of a comprehensive and co-ordinated community support service. 5.3 Advancement of citizenship, social engagement and inclusion 5.4 Organising recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for people of all ages participating in programmes run by the organisation 5.5 or another disadvantage. The relief of those in need by reason of ill-health, disability, financial hardship 5.6 To increase awareness in communities of disabilities, difficulties, health conditions and similar integration difficulties, not only to the general public, but also health and education professions and in doing so provide socialisation for those affected with different conditions and similar integration difficulties. 5.7 The organisation is committed to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion and to treating all people with dignity and respect. The organisation will seek to ensure that its activities, services, membership and employment practices are accessible, inclusive and free from unlawful discrimination, and will have regard to applicable equality legislation.
