What the charity exists to do

Develop and maintain Ury Riverside Park for people and nature. This is a voluntary organisation who bid for funding to develop and maintain the park and encourage the community to be involved in activities within the park

Constitutional objectives

4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 To advance environmental protection and improvement by: 4.1.1 Enhancing the biodiversity and amenity of the area known as Ury Riverside Park, Inverurie. 4.1.2 Establishing a wide range of riparian habitats, open parkland and recreational areas. 4.1.3 Development of a multi-purpose riparian woodland, shrub and open ground area 4.2 To provide recreational facilities to improve the conditions of life for those who use the park by: 4.2.1 Develop informal recreational facilities that are accessible to all. 4.2.2 To be open and inclusive to appropriate community events. 4.2.3 Create a vibrant well utilised natural resource in the centre of our town that will still be appreciated in 50-100 years time.
