02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The purpose of the charity is to oversee the Scout Groups within The Deeside District and in particular to prove required training for the leaders of the Groups within Deeside District. The other key purpose is to collect annual fees from individual Groups for onward payment to the North East Scout Area. The charity also collects funds from Groups with Deeside District for camps and other activities organised by the North East Region. Training is provided by a 3rd party training provider.
