Constitutional objectives
The organisation's purposes are: To advance education in Muslim culture and teachings for the benefit of members and the wider community, thereby providing better knowledge and understanding of Muslim culture and promoting the integration of communities through provision of language classes for children and adults, food and culture seminars and events, sharing traditions and celebrating Muslim religious festivals. The provision of recreational, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended by promoting the physical, intellectual, social, moral and spiritual development of all members of the Muslim community and in particular of young people. To promote good relations in the interests of religious and racial harmony between the Muslim community and all other communities, thereby encouraging members of the Muslim community to participate in and fully contribute to all aspects of civic life by facilitating inter-community and inter-faith dialogue and collaborating with others to achieve social equality for all.
