Constitutional objectives

(a) To improve the quality of life and well-being of impoverished and refugee communities in the north of Lebanon.This is our main objective and all of our activities should be focussed on achieving this end (b) To advance education and recreational activities by providing the infrastructure and assistance to refugee camps and communities in North Lebanon whereby educational and recreational activities can be carried out on a regular basis with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended.This will be achieved by assisting in the creation and ongoing development of creative, educational and recreational community led initiatives (c) To act as a catalyst between refugee communities, impoverished communities and other existing community service providers in the North of Lebanon, helping increase the connectivity between communities, NGOs, voluntary groups and other organisations with the objective of improving the quality of life and wellbeing of the related communities.This will be achieved by maximising, where possible and advisable, the cooperation between benefactor communities for the mutual benefit of all parties (d) To advance education by increasing awareness of the issues facing people in the North of Lebanon pertaining to the current crisis situation which persists in the region.This will be achieved by an ongoing dialogue with donors, media and other networks in Scotland and other parts of the world.We believe that the progress and sustainability of our projects will benefit from ongoing dialogue and cooperation with concerned parties outwith the benefactor communities (e) To provide relief and prevention of poverty by engaging with communities on projects that have economic benefits for these communities, this will be achieved through the implementation and assistance -financial and skills-based-provided by Mishwar Amal-Trips of Hope in collaboration with local communities
