What the charity exists to do

The charity recruits volunteers who are trained by The Scottish Ambulance Service to provide first responder medical care to local area patients who are waiting for an ambulance to arrive. The volunteers are rostered to be 'on call' during out of hours GP service and are dispatched by the SAS to attend relevant 999calls.
