What the charity exists to do

Charity was set up to provide religious services, training and education as well to support the young, the old and the women of Muslim background in the area to gain the awareness of the current issues and offer the Islam awareness to the local communities so the perception gap can bridged. The organisation is striving to provide these services through its Mosque and the community centre situated at the above address in Glasgow.

4 The company's objects are: (a) The promotion of religious or racial harmony through a cultural centre to. i. Advance and promote Islam as a way of life for the Muslim community. and ii. Promote an understanding of Islam throughout the community as a whole to create a more cohesive society. (b) To advance the education of the Muslim community through. i. The provision of tutorials, seminars and awareness classes. ii. The provision of recreational facilities, or the organization of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended through the provision of health and fitness workshops and organized sports events. (c) The relief of those of need by reason of age, ill health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage through the provision of an elderly day group and engaging in welfare programmes for the elderly
