02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The charity's objects are the provision of free therapeutic respite breaks, extended support, recreational facilities with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended - being those persons and their extended family. The charity also seeks the advancement of mental and physical health. In further of these objects the charity undertakes the provision of free respite breaks to children, young people and their families where the child, children or young persons have a life altering illness(es) or are undergoing or have undergone treatment for cancer. The charity also undertakes the provision of bereavement breaks and bereavement support to families.

Constitutional objectives
4.1 The provision of holiday accommodation, recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, the advancement of health and the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage. The principal activity will be the provision of holidays and holiday accommodation to children and their families where the child(ren) have life altering illnesses or the child(ren) are undergoing or have undergone treatment for cancer.
