Constitutional objectives
The Charitable Purpose of the SCIO ('the Charitable Purpose') is to advance community development by providing a highly-localised system of democratic community planning, through which to grow a community of communities in Scotland and elsewhere, underpinned by the principles of community empowerment, self-knowledge, measurability of outcomes, neutrality and mutuality of support.
