What the charity exists to do

We are stewards for the community to conserve, restore, and share our heritage (Bannockburn House and policies). We share the heritage and space with each other and the community to improve the wellbeing of all. We work towards sustainability of our organization to ensure that the benefits and our heritage remain for future generations. We improve the lives of our community by providing spaces, places, and a sense of belonging.

Constitutional objectives

The Trust's main purpose will be consistent with furthering the achievement of sustainable development for the future generations of the community. 5.4 The advancement of heritage by developing, maintaining and operating Bannockburn House as a community hub and centre of cultural and recreational activities. 5.5 Improving the lives of the community through organising and providing recreational and cultural activities at Bannockburn House. 5.6 The promotion of equality and diversity. 5.7 The advancement of public participation in sport and outdoor activities, using the grounds of Bannockburn House and connecting facilities. 5.8 The provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended. 5.9 Any other purpose that may reasonably be regarded as analogous to any of the preceding purposes.
