02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
The overall objective is to create a movement of social change within our communities, in terms of educating those that will engage with individuals with ASD at crucial transitions in their life. our main aim is to fully integrate individuals with ASD into all aspects of society. To do this we coordinate & deliver a series of support groups, training opportunities workshops & information seminars to our service users free of charge. we also deliver ‘parenting skills’ courses (the content covered includes Parenting children with ASN, Educational Inclusion and Communicating with Professionals.

The organisations purposes are to support parents, carers and their families who are disadvantaged by disability and ill-health by: 4.1 Providing recreational and respite activities. 4.2 Advancing education and citizenship through the provision of training, lifelong learning and volunteer opportunities. 4.3 Promoting equality and diversity by advocating for a better understanding of their rights and needs when accessing services.
