02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
We support people living with dementia to participate in a community singing group. This gives vital social support and also supports people's cognitive functions, while focusing on the enjoyment of singing together. We run a weekly singing group in Musselburgh run led by a professional song leader and supported by volunteer singers. Outside of the weekly group we hold social events, such as our annual Burns lunch, and perform in concerts. We participate in networks of dementia singing groups and help promote new groups.

Constitutional objectives
The aims of Let's Sing! A singing group for people living with dementia shall be to advance health, to advance the arts and to provide recreational activities by hosting a regular singing space for the benefit of people with dementia and their supporters.
