What the charity exists to do

To oversee the day to day running of the Public Hall, i.e. bookings, maintenance, cleaning etc. and to promote the use of the building to try to increase income to keep ahead of expenditure. Utility costs are causing an ongoing concern.

for the purpose of physical and mental training and recreation, and social, naval and intellectual development through the medium of reading and recreation rooms, Library, lectures, classes, recreation or otherwise as may be found expedient of the inhabitants of Port Erroll District in the County of Aberdeen (which district for the purposes of these presents shall be that district within a radius of two miles of that said Port Erroll Public Hall) and that without distinction of sex or of political, religions or other opinions subject to the provision of these presents.
