The nbc is set up for Charity purposes only. The nbc's purposes are: 1. The promotion of equality in every way, recognizing individuality and celebration of difference by addressing inequalities that face disabled and non-disabled people in the community. 2. The provision of recreational facilities, or the organization of recreational facilities, with the purpose of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended by: a. Creating opportunities to improve health and fitness b. Trying out and exploring new activities c. Creating opportunities for meeting people and offering help so that others can get involved
