What the charity exists to do
Al-Farooq Education and Community Centre (AFECC) in Glasgow serves a diverse community by providing inclusive support, education, and spiritual growth. It operates a food bank distributing over 14,000 parcels annually to combat food insecurity, partners with schools, and engages in global humanitarian aid like disaster relief and clean water projects. To promote and advance the religious education of Muslims according to the Ahle Hadees school of thought 2. The promotion and advancement of education through the provision of information. education. training. capacity building/leadership and mentoring programmes 3. The prevention/ relief of poverty and the advancement of health through the provision of a food bank. information/sign posting service and sporting initiatives 4. The provision of recreational facilities in the form of a community centre/hall which will be used to deliver a range of classes and activities for the benefit of the community. 5. Any other purpose that may reasonably be regarded as analogous to any of the preceding purposes
