The organisation’s purposes are: (a) To conserve the amenity of the hill commonly called “Bennachie” and its environs in Aberdeenshire (b) To help maintain and improve public footpaths and rights of way on Bennachie (c) To conserve and enhance the natural and cultural heritage of the area (d) To study and record the natural and cultural history (e) To encourage and stimulate public interest in and care for Bennachie, its beauty, history, character and surroundings and to discourage litter and vandalism (f) To facilitate and support the dissemination of information relating to Bennachie and its surroundings. (g) Any other purposes and activities that further the aims of the organisation
