02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
To provide and inclusive and welcoming community centre in the middle of Coupar Angus for the population generally residing within the area known as Strathmore, including the town of Blairgowrie, villages of Ketins, Burrelton, Kinrossie. Two managers and a kitchen assistant provide weekly lunches free bu donations, recreational events, community cinema monthly, an independent community library. Rooms are available for community hire and at a higher rate commercial hire. Council provided support surgeries and workshops are held weekly. Local community police liaison meetings held monthly. Classes held for English language. A community fridge is stocked with excess food and food cooked within the hub kitchen.
