02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Our unit provides fun, safe, confidence-building activities for girls in our local community through Girlguiding. We help girls develop skills, independence and resilience by offering weekly meetings, outdoor adventures, crafts, games and opportunities to try new things. Volunteers plan and run these activities, ensuring they are inclusive and accessible. Any funds we raise go directly towards resources, badges, trips and events that support the girls’ development and allow us to keep Guiding affordable for all families.
