Constitutional objectives
The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 Advancement of religion: To provide pastoral support to crew member who visit centre and during ship-visitation through conversation and council. to provide religious (Christian) literature and guidance both at centre and during ship-visitation. 4.2 Relief of those who are disadvantaged by being at sea for long periods of time by: providing a safe, dry, friendly space and free refreshments, for crew whilst on shore leave. providing internet access to contact families and friends. providing practical care for those who may be ill-prepared for Scottish weather, e.g. provision of hats, gloves, coats, etc.. 4.3 Relief of those who are sheltering in harbour due to emergency e.g. bad weather, technical problems with ship, etc. by: as above, but also including: access to hot water, food and other practical support as the need arises.
