What the charity exists to do
Amputee Football Association Scotland (AFAS) was established in 2016 with the intention of developing the opportunity for amputees to play football on a fun, participatory and competitive level.

- the provision of recreational facilities, or the organisation of recreational activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended

Constitutional objectives
The organisation's purposes are: 1. The organisation of recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the persons for whom the facilities or activities are primarily intended, which are primarily intended for persons who have need of them by reason of an amputation, congenital limb difference or non-functioning limbs. 2. to advance public participation in sport. 3. the relief of those in need by reason of age, ill-health, disability, financial hardship or other disadvantage.
