02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

The charity is set up to facilitate improve conditions for local residents, particularly groups like children and young people, older people, and those with disabilities or health challenges. We encouraging active participation in sport and recreation, fostering community engagement, health, and wellbeing. This can include running youth and adult football programmes, coaching, volunteer opportunities, and creating safe and inclusive spaces for sport and community activities. We are also invested in providing new and improved football facilities to Blantyre to increase participation in the area. For the last 5 years we have been working to raise funds to create a new all weather football pitch located in Blantyre.
