02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

To support the Aims and Purpose of the Scout Association and to contribute to the development of Young People in achieving their full physical and intellectual potential as individuals, as responsible citizens and members of their local, national and international communities. We aim to provide an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training assisted by some 25 volunteers for ages from 4 to 14 with activities that are age appropriate. These include indoor games, crafts, exploring foreign countries and cultures, first aid, DIY, litter picks, treks, cycle rides, treks not to mention camping indoor and outdoor as age appropriate. There are annual expeditions camps as well as overseas camps. All of this leads to our scouts moving onto Explorer Scout Units at 14.
