02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

We advance the arts and culture by producing and presenting musical performances. We assist in rebuilding local and national pride in Govan, foster self-confidence, creativity amongst the people of Govan and to build hope, resilience, discipline, teamwork, listening and communication through music in Govan and Greater Glasgow. We do this by bringing diverse folk together through music in Govan’s historic venues to strengthen community resilience and attract inward investment. We help more folk in creating and making music. We develop and pay local talent to help us deliver our charitable objectives, thus boosting community wealth.
