02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Scouting exists to actively engage and support young people in their personal development, empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. The Scouts, Cubs and Beavers meet up once a week and take part in various activities, learning new life skills whilst working towards badges, indoors and outdoors. There is also the opportunity at intervals throughout the year to participate in overnight camping weekends.
