What the charity exists to do

Garioch Sports Centre are a charitable, community sports and leisure facility. We pride ourselves in providing for all ages and abilities. Through sport, exercise, recreation, and an active lifestyle we provide facilities and services that remove participation barriers, are inclusive, accessible and affordable for all. Garioch Sports is a facility that is for the community run by the community and seen as a centre for life.

Constitutional objectives

4 The organisation's purposes are: 4.1 to deliver sports and community services primarily for the public benefit of those residing within the Garioch area of Aberdeenshire (including without limitation the parishes of Bourtie, Chapel of Garioch, Culsalmond, Daviot, Insch, Inverurie, Keithhall, Kemnay, Kintore, Leslie, Monymusk, Old Meldrum, Dyne, Premnay and Rayne) ('Garioch Area') with the aim of advancing public participation in sport. 4.2 to organise, promote and deliver sporting and community events, classes, lessons, coaching and tuition primarily for the public benefit of those residing within the Garioch Area with the aim of advancing public participation in sport. 4.3 to assist and collaborate with other organisations including clubs, not for profit organisations and charities with the aim of advancing public participation in sport. 4.4 to make grants, donations loans or gifts to individuals or organisations with the aim of advancing public participation in sport. and 4.5 to apply for charitable, public, trust and other funding to further the purposes set out at clauses 4.1 - 4.4 (inclusive).
