What the charity exists to do
To fulfil the necessary reconstruction, restoration, maintenance. conservation and preservation of the logging camp village at Dalmochie near Ballater., This was used by Newfoundland log gers during the Second World War.

Constitutional objectives
The organisation's principle purpose is the advancement of heritage and culture. The organisation will fulfil its purpose through the following activities:- (a)The necessary reconstruction, restoration, maintenance, conservation and preservation of the logging camp and log cabin village (the Historic Buildings) which were first constructed at Dalmochie, Pannanich Wood near Ballater, Aberdeenshire (the Dalmochie Site) during the Second World War, into a publicly accessible historical attraction and working model of environmentally friendly forest management. (b) The development of links of friendship with individuals who worked at the Dalmochie Site during the Second World War, and their descendants. (c) The preservation of memories of individuals who worked at the Dalmochie Site during the Second World War. (d) The advancement of public education by collecting and making publicly available information regarding the history and development of the forestry industry in Aberdeenshire, the history of the Dalmochie Site and its environs and contribution to the Second World War effort. (e) The stimulation of public interest and appreciation in the history, use and development of the Dalmochie Site. (f) The provision of training and skills of all kinds, particularly those which will assist in activities relating to forestry, the history of forestry and the protection of the environment.
