02 Purpose and work
What the charity exists to do
Work to advanc access to education and relieve poverty among children and families living in disadvantaged communities in Tanzania. During this period, we focused on building and developing schools to improve access to safe, quality education for children who would otherwise struggle to attend school. Alongside education, we supported families experiencing severe poverty by providing food parcels and essential household assistance. We also improved health and living conditions through practical community projects, including the construction of sanitation facilities such as toilets, the installation of clean water systems, and initiatives that promote hygiene and wellbeing. In addition, our work includes environmental conservation and sustainable community development, ensuring that the support we provide helps families build long term stability and opportunity. These directly improve access to education, strengthening families, creating safer and healthier communities.
