02 Purpose and work

What the charity exists to do

Miricyl improves the mental health of children and young people by simplifying the search for help. Our digital platform, uses a sophisticated algorithm to match users with over 500 curated support services based on their specific needs and location. By reducing the complexity of navigating mental health resources, we eliminate barriers to early intervention. We empower young people and parents to find the right support at the right time, preventing crisis and saving lives.

Constitutional objectives

4.The organisations purposes are: 4.1The advancement of health (including the prevention or relief of sickness, disease or human suffering) for infants, children and young people (principally ages 0-25). 4.2 The promotion of equality and diversity targeting all ages. The organisation will work towards (a) the elimination of stigma against mental health (b) advancing education and raising awareness of the stigma of mental health (c) promoting activities to foster understanding between people who do and do not suffer mental illness (d) conducting, funding or commissioning research on the stigma of mental health and how to end it and potentially publishing the results to the public. (e) cultivating a sentiment in favour of fair treatment and understanding of those living with mental illness and (f) the organisation may campaign, advocate and use any other means appropriate, including taking legal action, to end discrimination and improve the societal systems outlined in 4.1.1.
