The charity's objects ('Objects') are specifically restricted to the following: To advance the education of the public in the preservation of the historical, architectural and constructional heritage of the physical environment of the United Kingdom for the public benefit in particular but not exclusively by: (a) providing information and / or advice to voluntary, not for profit and charitable organisations established to: (i) promote the preservation of buildings or sites of historic or architectural importance or other heritage assets. and / or (ii) restore, protect or conserve the historic environment. and / or (iii) provide facilities in the interests of social welfare or recreation or leisure time occupation with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the public. and /or (iv) promote social inclusion by providing access to heritage assets. (b) carrying out and publishing research.
