Constitutional objectives
22/03/2017 new constitution received with new purposes 1 The organisation?s purposes are: 1.1 To contribute to the reduction of the supply of controlled substances coming in to Orkney by the provision of a trained drugs dog or dogs. Helping to prevent access to harmful substances for the health benefit of the people of Orkney and neighbouring local authority areas. 1.2 To work in partnership to increase public knowledge and to educate the community as to the extent of drug misuse, its damaging effects on individuals, families and society in general 1.3 To promote the efficiency of the police within the community at large by helping to reduce the supply of drugs coming into Orkney and also contribute to a safer community for Orkney and neighbouring local authorities?
